AFA Technology Symposium
Over the last few years the AFA Wright Memorial Chapter, 212 has been working to more closely involve Wright-Patterson AFB leadership in the events sponsored by the Chapter. As a result of these efforts the Chapter would like to inform you of a brand new event, the AFA Technology Symposium, which will be held at the Hope Hotel & Banquet Center, Area A, WPAFB, OH on Friday 26 September. This event has been coordinated with AFMC leadership to coincide with the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Senior Leadership Conference (SLC) so that participants of the AFMC SLC could be in attendance. They represent all the commanders and senior leaders from across AFMC. The Air Force and AFA are working to provide an informative agenda for this inaugural symposium. Speakers will include Gen Bruce Carlson, AFMC/CC and Maj Gen Curtis Bedke, AFRL/CC. Also planned are Technology Challenges Panels comprised of the Product Center Commanders, ALC Commanders, and Test Center Commanders. The Luncheon Heritage Speaker will be Lt Gen Thomas Stafford, USAF Retired.
